CATCH OF THE
DAY

Phone Flies owner Jeff Bates caught and released this 36" Atlantic "Black"
Salmon while Spring fishing on the Miramichi River in New Brunswick, Canada.
Once the ice breaks, these salmon
return to the ocean and regain their bright, silvery complexion. When the
fish return from the ocean to spawn in the rivers, they are called
"Bright" Salmon. In the summertime, you will also fish using dry flies
and nymphs , size 8 and smaller. Try Wulff
style flies, Bombers and Irresistible
patterns.
